What is rlInetFftNextHopVid?
This read-only INTEGER is the VLAN ID (vid) of the output port used to reach a given next hop. Admins use it to confirm that traffic toward a next hop is being tagged and forwarded on the correct VLAN, which is critical in trunked, multi-VLAN environments where a wrong VID would send frames to the wrong broadcast domain. For instance, if a next hop is unreachable only from certain VLANs, comparing this field's value against the expected VLAN ID for that egress port helps pinpoint a VLAN-tagging mismatch.
