Description: The current maximum number of ospf areas.

What is rlMaxOspfAreas?

This read-only INTEGER reports the current maximum number of OSPF areas the device can participate in. An admin cares because each area boundary this router touches (including area 0) counts against this limit, constraining how the OSPF domain can be segmented around this device. For example, a router acting as an ABR for four areas would be blocked from joining a fifth if this current value is capped at 4.
