Type: Bits

Access: read-write

Description: Next system load (after reset) set of running features. These features combinations limited by A. The same resource (such as ASIC module). B. Limitation of product or logic for combination (one feature override the other). C. Per product some or all features status may not be changed. System limit is for up to 5 features First implemented with 3.

What is rlDependendFeaturesEnabledAfterReset?

This read-write BITS value sets which mutually-limited features (such as ipV4routingEnabled, policyBasedVlanEnabled, and qualityOfServiceEnables) will be enabled at the next system load, subject to the same hardware and product combination limits as the live feature set. An admin cares because feature combinations can be limited by shared ASIC resources or product-specific rules, so a requested combination might not be honored after reboot if it conflicts. For example, an admin planning to add QoS to a device already running policy-based VLANs sets this bitmask ahead of a reboot, then verifies the running rlDependendFeaturesEnabled afterward to confirm the combination was accepted.
