rlTunnelIsatapQueryInterval

Module: CISCOSB-TUNNEL-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCOSB-TUNNEL-MIB::rlTunnelIsatapQueryInterval

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.122.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: specifies the time interval between sending of DNS Queries before receiving the first reply from the DNS Server.

What is rlTunnelIsatapQueryInterval?

This read-write Unsigned32, ranging 10 to 3600 seconds, sets the interval between DNS queries sent while waiting for the first reply from the DNS server during ISATAP setup. An admin might shorten this on a fast, reliable network to speed up initial tunnel establishment, or lengthen it to reduce query traffic on a congested link. For example, lowering this toward the 10-second minimum would make the device retry DNS lookups for the ISATAP router name more aggressively while waiting on a slow-to-respond DNS server.

Examples

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCOSB-TUNNEL-MIB::rlTunnelIsatapQueryInterval

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.122.4.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCOSB-TUNNEL-MIB::rlTunnelIsatapQueryInterval.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.122.4.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> rlTunnelIsatapQueryInterval.1
