rlSntpBroadcastInetDelay

Module: CISCOSB-TIMESYNCHRONIZATION-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCOSB-TIMESYNCHRONIZATION-MIB::rlSntpBroadcastInetDelay

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.92.2.2.15.1.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: NTPSignedTimeValue

Access: read-only

Description: The estimated round-trip delay of the server's clock relative to the local clock over the network path between them, in seconds. The host determines the value of this object using the algorithm described in RFC 2030.

What is rlSntpBroadcastInetDelay?

This read-only NTPSignedTimeValue, in seconds, is the estimated round-trip delay to the inet-addressed broadcast server, computed per RFC 2030. An admin can use this to compare network path latency between the IPv4 and IPv6 broadcast paths on a dual-stack segment. For example, a noticeably higher delay here than on the legacy IPv4 broadcast delay object could point to IPv6 routing taking a less direct path on that LAN.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.92.2.2.15.1.11
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCOSB-TIMESYNCHRONIZATION-MIB::rlSntpBroadcastInetDelay

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.92.2.2.15.1.11.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCOSB-TIMESYNCHRONIZATION-MIB::rlSntpBroadcastInetDelay.1
