Description: SNTP Broadcast Administrative state - Enable/Disable SNTP. In case of reinitializing polling or time synchronization this MIB is modified. The MIB can be enabled even thought it is already enabled.
What is rlSntpBroadcastAdminState?
This read-write INTEGER controls whether SNTP broadcast mode is enabled, disabled, or restricted to IPv4-only or IPv6-only operation. An admin managing a mixed IPv4/IPv6 LAN might use the ipv4OnlyEnabled or ipv6OnlyEnabled options to limit which broadcast time announcements the device listens to. For example, setting this to ipv6OnlyEnabled(4) would make the device accept SNTP broadcasts only over IPv6, ignoring IPv4 broadcast time packets on the same segment.
