rlPolicyOMPCCondition

Module: CISCOSB-POLICY-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCOSB-POLICY-MIB::rlPolicyOMPCCondition

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.59.2.3.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: These define the operation carried out on the two 'operands' (frame and pattern), i.e. Bigger means that frame bits should be bigger than pattern bits. The permitted values are according to rlPolicyOMPCPermittedOperators parameter, if this OMPC is used by an entry in the rlPolicyClassifierTable whose rlPolicyClassifierType is a protocol for which predefined offsets in rlPolicyFlowClassificationOffsetsTable are required. rlPolicyRequiredOffsetGroups indicates for which protocols there is such a requirement.

What is rlPolicyOMPCCondition?

This read-write object specifies the comparison operator, equal, not-equal, bigger, or smaller, applied between the packet's bytes and this OMPC's pattern, restricted to whichever operators the platform's rlPolicyOMPCPermittedOperators reports as supported. An admin sets this to define the exact test logic for the pattern match, such as requiring a header field to exceed a threshold. For example, an admin building a rule to flag packets where a length field exceeds a certain value would set this to 'bigger' rather than 'equal'.
