This read-only StatisticsCntrType identifies what kind of metric this row of the device-wide, global policy statistics table represents. It tells the admin which global metric, such as total policy drops or total policy matches, a given row's counter value refers to. For example, a row of type "global matched packets" lets an admin see device-wide policy activity distinct from a per-port breakdown.
