rlPolicyFlowClassificationOffsetsGroupMask

Module: CISCOSB-POLICY-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCOSB-POLICY-MIB::rlPolicyFlowClassificationOffsetsGroupMask

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.59.2.2.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-write

Description: The list of masks corresponding to the offsets to be included in the Flow Classification Offset Group are specified as bytes in the OID(after the first 2 bytes which must be 1.1).

What is rlPolicyFlowClassificationOffsetsGroupMask?

This read-write OCTET STRING specifies, as a list of mask bytes encoded after a fixed 2-byte prefix, which bits of each corresponding offset in the Flow Classification Offset Group are significant for matching. An admin uses this to narrow a byte-offset match to specific bits rather than the whole byte, such as matching only the upper nibble of a header byte. For example, an admin wanting to match only the DSCP bits within a packet's ToS byte would set a mask here that isolates just those bits rather than the entire byte.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.59.2.2.1.4
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCOSB-POLICY-MIB::rlPolicyFlowClassificationOffsetsGroupMask

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.59.2.2.1.4.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCOSB-POLICY-MIB::rlPolicyFlowClassificationOffsetsGroupMask.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.59.2.2.1.4.1 s <value>
