What is rlDiffservBoundaryPortType?
This read-write enum (boundary/interior) marks whether the associated interface is a Diffserv boundary port, facing untrusted traffic, or an interior port, facing trusted, already-classified traffic. This distinction matters operationally because boundary ports typically need ingress classification or remarking while interior ports can trust existing DSCP markings. For example, marking a port facing an ISP uplink as boundary(1) tells the device to re-examine and possibly remark DSCP on traffic entering there, unlike an interior port connecting to a trusted core switch.
