What is rlEnvMonSupplySource?

This read-only value identifies the power source type feeding a specific power supply, distinguishing AC, DC, external, or internal redundant sources. Admins check this to confirm the device is actually drawing from the expected power source, especially in installations with mixed AC and DC or redundant supply configurations. For example, if this reports internalRedundant on a supply expected to be the primary AC feed, the admin would know the device has already failed over to backup power.

How to Use in IPNetwork Monitor

Select a Cisco Small Business switch as the target host to create a monitor — the SNMP service should be up and running on it. Click New Monitor, then check SNMP Custom on the Favorites tab, click Next, and confirm the host. On the next page, click Select... to open the built-in SNMP MIB Browser and type rlEnvMonSupplySource into the Find box to locate it in the OID tree, selecting the specific row/instance you want to monitor since this is a table column, then select it and click OK.
