This read-only integer identifies which unit in a switch stack a particular fan-data table entry belongs to. Admins use this to isolate fan readings to a specific physical unit when managing a multi-unit stacked switch deployment. For example, in a three-unit stack, this field would report the number of the second physical switch for fan entries associated with that unit.
