rlEmWebServiceCertificateId

Module: CISCOSB-EMBWEB-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCOSB-EMBWEB-MIB::rlEmWebServiceCertificateId

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.66.30.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Indicates the certificate used by the service if rlEmWebServiceProtocol is https. A value of 0 indicates that a certificate has not been assigned to this service. setting this field to 1000 will cause the service to go back to it's initialization value.

What is rlEmWebServiceCertificateId?

This read-write integer identifies which installed certificate the embedded web server uses to secure a connection when rlEmWebServiceProtocol is set to https, with 0 meaning no certificate has been assigned. An administrator checks this to confirm the management web interface is actually presenting the intended TLS certificate rather than falling back to none, since a value of 0 would mean HTTPS connections have no certificate to validate the server's identity. For example, after uploading a new certificate for the switch's HTTPS admin page, the admin would set this OID to that certificate's ID, or write 1000 to revert the web service back to its factory-default certificate setting.
