What is rndCommunityTrapsEnable?
This read-create INTEGER controls whether the agent sends SNMP traps to the management station tied to this community entry, and if so which SNMP version (v1, v2, or v3) to use, with trapsDisable(4) turning traps off entirely. An admin configures this per management station so critical alerts reach the right NMS in the SNMP version it expects. For example, setting this to snmpV2(2) for a particular NMS entry ensures that station receives SNMPv2 traps rather than v1 or v3 formatted ones.
