Description: This attribute describes the status of the group hardware as detected by the sensors software.
What is genGroupHWStatus?
This read-only INTEGER reports the hardware health status of a device group as detected by onboard sensor software, with values ok(1), hardwareProblems(2), or notSupported(255). An admin monitors this to get an early warning of hardware faults, such as failing fans or power issues, detected by the device's own sensors. For example, a value of hardwareProblems(2) would prompt the admin to check environmental sensor logs or physically inspect the unit before it fails outright.
