Module: CISCOSB-BRIDGEMIBOBJECTS-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCOSB-BRIDGEMIBOBJECTS-MIB::rldot1sMstpInstanceHelloTime

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.57.6.1.1.9

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Timeout

Access: read-only

Description: The amount of time between the transmission of Configuration bridge PDUs by this node on any port when it is the root of the spanning tree or trying to become so, in units of hundredths of a second. This is the actual value that this bridge is currently using.

What is rldot1sMstpInstanceHelloTime?

This read-only Timeout value, in hundredths of a second, reports how often this bridge currently transmits Configuration BPDUs while it is (or is trying to become) the root of the spanning tree for an MSTP instance. An admin reviews it to confirm the operational hello interval matches expected timer settings, since mismatched timers can slow convergence. For example, an engineer diagnosing a slower-than-expected STP convergence would check this value to rule out an unusually long hello interval.
