What is rldot1dStpSupportedType?
This read-only INTEGER (perDevice(1)/perVlan(2)/mstp(3)) reports which Spanning Tree Protocol modes the device is capable of supporting. An admin cares because it tells them, before attempting configuration, which STP architectures (a single device-wide tree, one tree per VLAN, or MSTP regions) are even available on this hardware. For example, an admin planning to use per-VLAN STP across a segmented network would check this value first to confirm the device supports perVlan mode rather than only perDevice.
