Specifies whether the STP uses the extended port fnumber format.

What is rldot1dStpExtendedPortNumberFormat?

This OID enables or disables extended port numbering for Spanning Tree Protocol (used to prevent network loops). Extended numbering supports more ports than the standard format. An operator would enable this on large switches to support all physical ports in loop prevention.
