Description: This mib show whether Tacacs+ is supported in AAA. If the value is false Tacacs+ will not be used as an authentication and accounting method. If the value is true Tacacs+ will be used by AAA for authentication and accounting if the the AAA was configured to do so (by setting the appropriate mibs).
What is rlAAATacacsSupported?
This read-only TruthValue reports whether TACACS+ is supported on this device; if false, TACACS+ can never be used as an authentication or accounting method, and if true, it will be used whenever AAA has been configured to do so. Admins consult this before trying to build a TACACS+-based deployment on a given switch model. For example, an admin discovers this object is false on an older switch model and instead plans a RADIUS-only AAA rollout for that hardware.
