This read-only InetAddress records the remote address a user connected from for a line-password login history entry, in the Inet-addressed table. An admin cares because it identifies the source of a shared line-password-authenticated session reached over IPv4 or IPv6. For example, an admin suspicious of leaked line-password credentials would check this field across entries for unfamiliar source addresses.
