p2mpSuLinkDSThresh

Module: CISCO-WIRELESS-P2MP-LINK-METRICS-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WIRELESS-P2MP-LINK-METRICS-MIB::p2mpSuLinkDSThresh

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.181.2.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: CwrPercentageValue

Access: read-write

Description: When the percentage of codeword errors detected to the total codewords received in one second is equal to or greater than this value, and less than p2mpLinkSESThresh, the second is counted as a Codeword Degraded Second.

What is p2mpSuLinkDSThresh?

A read-write CwrPercentageValue, in units of 0.00001 percent, setting the codeword error-rate percentage at or above which, but still below the severely-errored threshold, a second is classified as a Degraded Second (DS). This defines the moderately-bad band of link quality between normal operation and a severely errored second, letting the device distinguish minor degradation from serious failure at the statistics level. For example, setting p2mpSuLinkDSThresh to a low percentage would make the subscriber unit flag even a slight uptick in per-second error rate as a Degraded Second, giving early warning before conditions worsen further.
