p2mpSuEffectiveDataRate

Module: CISCO-WIRELESS-P2MP-LINK-METRICS-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WIRELESS-P2MP-LINK-METRICS-MIB::p2mpSuEffectiveDataRate

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.181.2.6.1.16

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Gauge32

Access: read-only

Description: Represents the effective data throughput while the link was last synchronized. For a given bandwidth and throughput selection, it represents the data throughput being achieved.

What is p2mpSuEffectiveDataRate?

A read-only Gauge32 giving the effective data throughput the link achieved for its currently or most recently selected bandwidth and modulation configuration while synchronized. It reflects the real achievable throughput under current radio conditions, which can be lower than the theoretical maximum for the configured bandwidth if the link has stepped down modulation to maintain reliability. For example, an admin noticing p2mpSuEffectiveDataRate dropping over time even though the configured bandwidth setting has not changed would suspect the link has adapted to a lower, more robust modulation scheme in response to degrading conditions.
