This read-create INTEGER specifies the non-inner (outer) authentication type, such as pap, chap, mschap, or mschapV2, used when a non-inner-EAP authentication method is chosen for a realm; it is reserved when another EAP type applies, and the object is noted as superseded by cLHotspotEAPAuthTable. It lets an admin declare, for legacy configurations, which simple credential exchange a realm expects outside of a full EAP tunnel. For example, a legacy realm relying on MS-CHAPv2 credential checks would have this object set to mschapV2.
