cwrImageOp

Module: CISCO-WIRELESS-EXP-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WIRELESS-EXP-MIB::cwrImageOp

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.10.52.1.2.1.1.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This object represents the operation to be performed on the identified image. nop(0) - This value will be returned when this object is read. add(1) - Will add the image URL, as the first entry in the image table. delete(2) - Will delete the specified ULR from the image table. move(3) - Will make the image specified by the URL the first entry in the imageTable.

What is cwrImageOp?

This read-write INTEGER (nop, add, delete, move) triggers an operation on the image table: adding a new image URL as the first entry, deleting a specified image by URL, or moving an existing image to the front of the list; reading it always returns nop. It is how an admin manages which firmware images are staged on the device and in what boot priority order, entirely through SNMP writes. For example, setting cwrImageOp to add(1) after supplying an image URL loads a new firmware candidate into the first slot of the image table.

Examples

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-WIRELESS-EXP-MIB::cwrImageOp

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.10.52.1.2.1.1.11.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-WIRELESS-EXP-MIB::cwrImageOp.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.10.52.1.2.1.1.11.1 i <value>
