What is cwdIfUpChannelTxBackoffEnd?
This read-write value sets the final contention-resolution back-off window, expressed as a power of 2, that a subscriber unit uses when retrying data packet transmissions in contention mode, with 16 at the headend again indicating a proprietary adaptive algorithm. Admins pair it with cwdIfUpChannelTxBackoffStart to bound how far the data-transmission back-off window can expand across retries. For example, if data transmit retries tracked separately in cwdIfSuServiceTxRetries are climbing, an admin might widen the gap between cwdIfUpChannelTxBackoffStart and cwdIfUpChannelTxBackoffEnd to better spread out retransmission attempts.
