Module: CISCO-WIRELESS-DOCS-IF-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-WIRELESS-DOCS-IF-MIB::cwdIfUpChannelTargetPower
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.167.1.1.4.1.5
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Integer32
Access: read-write
Description: The target receive power of this upstream channel at the headend and the transmit power of the channel at the subscriber end.
What is cwdIfUpChannelTargetPower?
This read-write value sets the target receive power the headend expects from this upstream channel, which corresponds to the transmit power the subscriber end is instructed to use. Admins tune this so that upstream signals arrive at the headend at a consistent, optimal power level across all subscriber units sharing the channel. For example, an admin experiencing marginal upstream signal quality on a channel might raise cwdIfUpChannelTargetPower slightly to push SUs to transmit at a higher level.
