Description: The number of upstream mini-slots which have been used to transmit data PDUs in immediate (contention) mode. This includes only those PDUs which are presumed to have arrived at the headend (i.e., those which were explicitly acknowledged.) It does not include retransmission attempts or mini-slots used by requests.
What is cwdIfSuServiceTxSlotsImmed?
This counter tracks the number of upstream mini-slots used by this SU to transmit data PDUs in immediate contention mode that were explicitly acknowledged as successfully received at the headend, excluding retransmission attempts and mini-slots used purely for bandwidth requests. Admins use it to measure how much of the SU's contention-based upstream capacity is going toward successfully delivered data. For example, comparing cwdIfSuServiceTxSlotsImmed against the retry counters for the same SU tells an admin what fraction of contention transmissions are actually succeeding versus being retried.
