What is cwdIfSuHeAddress?
This read-only object reports the MAC address of the headend controlling this MAC domain, taken at the subscriber unit from the source address seen in SYNC, MAP, and other MAC-layer messages, or all zeros if the headend is unknown. Admins use this to confirm which specific headend a given SU is currently synchronized with. For example, in a deployment with multiple headends, an admin troubleshooting an SU's connectivity would check cwdIfSuHeAddress to confirm it's associated with the expected headend rather than an unintended one.
