Module: CISCO-WIRELESS-DOCS-IF-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-WIRELESS-DOCS-IF-MIB::cwdIfHeInvitedRangingAttempts
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.167.1.3.1.1.6
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: The maximum number of attempts to make on invitations for ranging requests. A value of zero means the system should attempt to range forever.
What is cwdIfHeInvitedRangingAttempts?
This read-write value sets the maximum number of attempts the headend will make inviting an SU to complete ranging, with zero meaning the system should keep attempting indefinitely. Admins tune this to control how persistently the headend keeps trying to range a subscriber unit that isn't responding. For example, an admin wanting the headend to give up sooner on unresponsive SUs, freeing capacity for other devices, would set cwdIfHeInvitedRangingAttempts to a finite number instead of 0.
