What is cwdIfHeCapabilities?
This read-only bitmask identifies which optional MAC-layer capabilities, such as ATM cell support or concatenation, this headend's MAC implementation supports, again noting that basic packet transmission is always assumed and needs no explicit bit. Admins check this to confirm the headend side supports a feature before trying to enable it network-wide. For example, before enabling concatenated upstream bursts across a MAC domain, an admin would confirm the concatenation(1) bit is present in cwdIfHeCapabilities for that headend interface.
