Access: read-create

Description: Specifies the minimum frequency power to be used by VISM when detecting a specific dual frequency tone.

Please refer the VISM configuration guide for standard values to be used for this field.

What is vismFreqMinPower?

This read-create Integer32 (10-35 dB) specifies the minimum frequency power VISM requires to detect a specific dual-frequency tone. An admin sets this per the configuration guide's recommended values to bound how faint a tone can be and still be recognized as valid. For example, an admin on a trunk with a weak signal path might lower vismFreqMinPower so a legitimately quiet tone still gets detected.
