tonePlanProvisionFlag

Module: CISCO-WAN-VISM-TONE-PLAN-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-VISM-TONE-PLAN-MIB::tonePlanProvisionFlag

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.150.24.1.1.2.1.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: This attribute specifies whether this entry contains predefined Tone Plan configuration information from internal firmware code (object is set to 'builtIn') or if it has been configured with tone plan configuration information that has been downloaded from the PXM (object is set to unused).

Only entries that are provisionable may have their tonePlanEntryStatus MIB object marked as unused in this table. BuiltIn entries may not be marked as unused.

What is tonePlanProvisionFlag?

This read-only enumeration (builtIn or provisionable) indicates whether a tone plan entry came from internal firmware or was configured with tone data downloaded from the PXM, and only provisionable entries may ever have their tonePlanEntryStatus marked unused. An admin uses this to distinguish factory-default tone plans from custom, site-downloaded ones when deciding which entries are safe to remove or replace. For example, an admin trying to free up a tone plan slot checks tonePlanProvisionFlag to confirm the entry is provisionable, since a builtIn entry can't be marked unused.
