seqTonePowerLevelFloor

Module: CISCO-WAN-VISM-TONE-PLAN-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-VISM-TONE-PLAN-MIB::seqTonePowerLevelFloor

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.150.24.1.1.4.10

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: Lowest (floor) power level of the sequential frequency tone (absolute value in dBm) used with sequential tone detector on VISM DSP. Range from 0 to 40 (0 to -40dB)

What is seqTonePowerLevelFloor?

This read-write Integer32 (0-40, representing an absolute value in dBm from 0 to -40dB) specifies the lowest power level VISM's sequential tone detector will still accept for a tone segment. An admin sets this floor to filter out background noise or very weak signals from being mistaken for the sequential tone being monitored. For example, an admin dealing with a noisy trunk that triggers false sequential-tone detections would raise seqTonePowerLevelFloor to require a stronger signal before matching.
