Description: This object is used to enable/disable the Redundancy scheme for UDP-based fax transport.
What is t38Redundancy?
This read-write enumeration (enabled or disabled) turns on or off the general redundancy scheme used for UDP-based fax transport on the gateway. An admin enables it to add resilience against packet loss for fax sessions carried over UDP, complementing the more granular t38LsDataRedundancy and t38HsDataRedundancy settings. For example, an admin troubleshooting fax failures on a lossy UDP path checks that t38Redundancy is enabled before fine-tuning the low-speed and high-speed redundancy counts.
