t38HsDataPacketSize

Module: CISCO-WAN-T38-FAXRELAY-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-T38-FAXRELAY-MIB::t38HsDataPacketSize

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.150.19.1.1.1.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This object specifies the size of primary high speed(HS) - the data packet transmitted after the first phase of a T.38 call.

'tenms' - size of the HS in 10 millisecond. 'twentyms' - size of the HS in 20 millisecond. 'thirtyms' - size of the HS in 30 millisecond. 'fortyms' - size of the HS in 40 millisecond.

What is t38HsDataPacketSize?

This read-write enumeration sets the size, in milliseconds (10, 20, 30, or 40ms), of the primary high-speed data packet transmitted after the first phase of a T.38 fax call. An admin adjusts this to control how the gateway chunks the high-speed image data phase of a fax transmission, trading packet count against packet size for the network conditions in use. For example, choosing tenms on a jittery link produces more, smaller high-speed packets so a single loss carries less fax image data.
