This object controls whether RTP packets are transmitted in triplicate (true) or sent only once (false) on the connection, a setting the MIB says is meant for reliable links to save bandwidth when disabled, and which overrides the card-level vismVoIpTripleRedundancy setting. An administrator on an unreliable link might enable triple redundancy to improve voice resiliency against packet loss, while an administrator on a reliable link would disable it to conserve bandwidth. For example, an administrator provisioning a connection over a link known to drop packets occasionally might set this to true to send each RTP packet three times and reduce the chance of audible gaps.
