Description: This object determines the static remote RTP port (UDP) that this connection is using. Only even numbers are allowed as odd numbers are used for RTCP port. The combination of remote ip and remote port needs to be unique for a connection.

What is vismRtpRmtPort?

This object configures the static remote RTP (UDP) port the connection uses, restricted to even numbers since odd numbers are reserved for RTCP, and the combination of remote IP address and remote port must be unique for the connection. An administrator uses this to point the RTP connection at the correct media port on the far-end gateway or endpoint. For example, if two connections need to reach the same remote IP address, the administrator must assign each of them a different even remote port to satisfy the uniqueness requirement.
