Description: The amount of time T between successive transmissions of ILMI messages on this interface for the purpose of detecting loss of ILMI connectivity. The distinguished value zero disables ILMI connectivity procedures on this interface.

What is cwRsrcPartIlmiCheckConPollIntvl?

This object sets the interval, in seconds, between successive ILMI message transmissions used to detect loss of ILMI connectivity on a resource partition, with a value of 0 disabling ILMI connectivity checking entirely on that interface. An administrator tunes this interval to control how quickly a partition notices when its ILMI peer has stopped responding. For example, setting this to 0 would turn off ILMI connectivity monitoring on that partition altogether, which an administrator might do if the attached device does not support ILMI.
