This object configures the guaranteed percentage of egress bandwidth reserved for a resource partition, expressed in units of 0.0001 percent, and the MIB notes that the sum across all partitions cannot exceed 100% of the interface's guaranteed bandwidth. An administrator uses this to carve out a minimum slice of outbound interface capacity for a specific customer or service on a shared ATM interface. For example, setting this to 250000 (25.0000%) for one partition would reserve a quarter of the interface's guaranteed egress bandwidth for connections provisioned in that partition.
