This read-only counter, in cells, tracks the number of Forward RM (FRm) cells in the ingress direction of this channel prior to the traffic management entity. An admin uses this to specifically track forward-direction RM-cell volume as part of verifying the ABR closed-loop control is generating and forwarding feedback cells as expected on this channel. For example, comparing this forward RM-cell count against the combined backward/foresight RM-cell count, cwacsIngXmtBRmFsRm, helps the admin confirm the ABR feedback loop is balanced and functioning in both directions.
