This read-only counter, in cells, tracks the number of valid EOF=1 ATM cells in the egress direction of this channel prior to the traffic management entity. An admin monitors this alongside the corresponding discard counter to assess how many frame-ending cells are surviving the egress traffic management stage intact. For example, comparing this pre-management count against cwacsEgrEOF1Discard lets the admin quantify what fraction of outbound frame-ending cells are being lost before reaching the destination.
