This read-only gauge reports the current egress Allowed Cell Rate for this ABR connection, the rate at which the source is currently permitted to send, and is not instantiated for non-ABR traffic types. An admin monitors this to see the live outbound effect of the ABR closed-loop rate-control algorithm, watching it rise and fall as network conditions toward the destination change. For example, if this egress ACR value stays pinned at a low rate for an extended period, the admin would suspect ongoing congestion somewhere along the path toward the destination is preventing the connection from ramping up.
