Module: CISCO-WAN-ATM-CONN-STAT-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-ATM-CONN-STAT-MIB::cwacsCacPassedCalls

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.150.2.1.1.4.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Counter32

Access: read-only

Description: The number of calls that passed successfully the CAC function.

For example, CAC functionality is applied either due to:

1) The CRCX message sent to Voice Gateway from the Call Agent to set up a new connection OR AAL2 trunking application.

or

2) Upspeed request due to Fax/modem tone detection on a connection configured for compression. For the initial version of Alabama release, only case 2 is valid.

What is cwacsCacPassedCalls?

This Counter32 counts the number of calls that were successfully admitted by this channel's CAC (Call Admission Control) function, which is invoked for new connection setup requests from a Call Agent or for upspeed requests triggered by fax/modem tone detection. Each increment represents a call or upspeed request the network determined it had sufficient bandwidth to accept. An admin monitoring voice gateway capacity would track this counter's growth rate to understand call volume successfully admitted onto this ATM connection.
