Description: Rate Decrease Factor: Controls the rate decrease which occurs when backward RM-cells with CI=1 are received. Larger values lead to faster rate decrease. This factor is applied at both the local and remote endpoints, thus making the loop control symmetrical. Backward RM cells at the local endpoint correspond to RM cells received in the remote->local direction. Backward RM cells at the remote endpoint correspond to RM cells received in the local->remote direction.

What is cwaChanAbrRDF?

This OID sets how aggressively the device reduces ATM data rates when detecting network congestion (higher values mean faster rate reduction). It controls the responsiveness of available-bitrate flow control. A WAN administrator would increase this value if traffic is bouncing around between limits instead of converging smoothly.
