Access: read-only

Description: This reflects the transaction Identifier of the last successful connection configuration on the slot (represented by cwSlotIndex).

The value of this object is incremented every time a connection(ATM/Frame Relay) is successfully added, deleted, modified or administratively up/down.

The transaction identifier of the each provisioned ATM connection endpoint is represented by cwaChanUploadCounter in the cwaChanCnfgTable.

The transcation identifer of the each provisioned Frame Relay connection endpoint is represented by frChanCnfChangeCount in frChanCnfGrpTable.

What is cwChanGlobalTransactionId?

This read-only value reports the transaction identifier of the last successful connection configuration change on the given slot, incrementing every time an ATM or Frame Relay connection is added, deleted, modified, or administratively toggled. An admin or management system uses this as a change-detection counter, polling it to quickly determine whether any connection configuration on that slot has changed since the last check, without needing to re-read the entire connection table. For example, a monitoring system could poll this transaction ID periodically and only re-sync its full connection inventory for that slot when the value increments, avoiding unnecessary full-table polls.
