Description: A VLAN to which this VLAN is being translational-bridged. If this value and the corresponding instance of vtpVlanTranslationalVlan2 are both zero, then this VLAN is not being translational-bridged.
What is vtpVlanTranslationalVlan1?
This read-only object identifies one of up to two VLANs that this VLAN is being translational-bridged to, letting traffic move between VLANs of different media types; a value of zero here (along with vtpVlanTranslationalVlan2 also zero) means no translational bridging is in effect. An administrator checks this to trace how traffic from, say, a legacy Token Ring VLAN is being bridged into an Ethernet VLAN. For example, a VLAN showing a non-zero vtpVlanTranslationalVlan1 confirms its traffic is actively being translated onto that other VLAN rather than staying isolated.
