Description: The ring number of this VLAN. This object is only instantiated when the value of the corresponding instance of vtpVlanType has a value of 'fddi' or 'tokenRing' and Source Routing is in use on this VLAN.
What is vtpVlanRingNumber?
This read-only Integer32 object reports the Token Ring or FDDI ring number assigned to this VLAN, and it only exists for VLANs of type fddi or tokenRing that are using Source Routing. An administrator managing legacy Token Ring or FDDI VLANs uses this to know which ring number that VLAN maps to for source-route bridging purposes. For example, this object would simply not appear for a standard Ethernet VLAN, since it's only relevant to Source-Routed Token Ring or FDDI VLANs.
