vtpVlanEditTranslationalVlan1
Module: CISCO-VTP-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-VTP-MIB::vtpVlanEditTranslationalVlan1
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.46.1.4.2.1.12
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: VlanIndex
Access: read-create
Description: A VLAN to which this VLAN would be translational-bridged. If this value and the corresponding instance of vtpVlanTranslationalVlan2 are both zero, then this VLAN would not be translational-bridged.
An implementation may restrict access to this object.
What is vtpVlanEditTranslationalVlan1?
This read-create object stages one of up to two VLANs that a VLAN would be translational-bridged to once the edit buffer is applied, with zero (alongside the second such object) meaning no translational bridging would occur. An administrator preparing a VLAN that needs to bridge into a VLAN of a different media type sets this before applying. For example, staging a Token Ring VLAN to translational-bridge into an existing Ethernet VLAN means setting this object to that Ethernet VLAN's index before the apply.
