Description: The state which this VLAN would have.

What is vtpVlanEditState?

This read-create INTEGER sets the operational or suspended state that a VLAN would take on once the current edit buffer is applied. An administrator uses this while staging VLAN changes to pre-configure whether a VLAN should come up operational or remain suspended after the apply completes. For example, an admin preparing a new VLAN that isn't ready for traffic yet would set vtpVlanEditState to suspended before applying, so it doesn't start passing traffic immediately.
