Description: The type of Source Route bridging mode which would be in use on this VLAN. This object is only instantiated when the value of the corresponding instance of vtpVlanEditType has a value of fddi(2) or tokenRing(3) and Source Routing is in use on this VLAN.
What is vtpVlanEditBridgeType?
This read-create INTEGER stages whether Source Route Transparent (srt) or Source Route Bridging (srb) mode would be used on a source-routed fddi or tokenRing VLAN once the edit is applied. An administrator preparing such a legacy VLAN chooses the bridging mode appropriate to the existing Token Ring or FDDI topology before committing the edit. For example, staging srb mode for a new Token Ring VLAN matches it to an existing source-route bridged segment it needs to interoperate with.
